Egypt, Sudan relations at a new low finished Erdogan’s visit

CAIRO — Egypt’s expert government media is attacking neighboring Sudan over its growing ties with Turkey and Qatar, Cairo’s local adversary, saying the three are contriving against Egypt.

While the legislature has openly stayed quiet, the media seized on a visit this week to Sudan by Turkey’ president, a gathering between the head of staff of Sudan, Turkey and Qatar and restored endeavors by Khartoum to resuscitate an outskirt question with Egypt.

The new low in relations extends stewing strains amongst Egypt and both Ethiopia and Sudan over the presumable effect of a monstrous dam being worked by Addis Abba on Egypt’s key offer of Nile River waters.

“Sudanese President Omar Bashir is behaving recklessly in return for dollars,” composed veteran investigator Emad Adeeb in Thursday’s release of the Cairo day by day, Al-Watan.
