MEXICO CITY – An American shot dead in a Mexican shoreline resort has been distinguished as an authority from a Southern California city.
The city of Imperial Beach says in an announcement that its Administrative Services Director Doug Bradley was killed Thursday while traveling in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. The township incorporates the neighboring resort of Ixtapa. The passing came the day preceding Bradley’s 50th birthday celebration
Guerrero state security authorities had announced Bradley’s demise Friday without distinguishing him.
The city’s announcement said Bradley lived in Mexico and drove to Imperial Beach. A devoted surfer, he had voyage a significant part of the Mexican drift.
The city is working with the U.S. International safe haven in Mexico to repatriate Bradley’s body.
