India aircraft fires 2 pilots after announced battle in cockpit

NEW DELHI — An Indian carrier says it has terminated two pilots who apparently battled in the cockpit, with the man supposedly slapping the lady amid the New Year’s Day flight from London to Mumbai.

Stream Airways says in an announcement Tuesday that it “has ended administrations of both the cockpit group with quick impact.”

The organization has discharged no further points of interest. Indian media have announced the male pilot slapped his female co-pilot amid a contention in the cockpit, and that she developed crying and for a period declined to come back to the cockpit.

The flight, which was conveying 324 travelers and 14 group individuals, landed securely.
