Quarry casualty woke canvassed in blood with conceal man remaining over her

A jury has been told a lady who was kidnapped and dumped at an Auckland quarry woke up shrouded in blood, with a conceal man remaining over her holding a slugging stick.

It’s affirmed Colin Mitchell lifted the lady up in his auto in the city last February, and bashed her with the plan of sexually abusing her at the quarry in Riverhead 25 kilometers away.

Crown prosecutor Kirsten Lummis told the jury there’s a shrouded side to the 59-year-old charged.

“Mr Mitchell has a dull, evil side. A side that lone turns out operating at a profit of night,” she said.

Mr Mitchell’s auto and DNA prompted his capture. However the protection keeps up the police misunderstood the man.
