Dissenter who bugged German columnists worked for police

BERLIN — Germany’s equity serve is requiring an examination concerning the path experts in the eastern territory of Saxony treated columnists taping a showing, after it rose that a dissident who pestered writers works for state police.

Katarina Barley revealed to German news organization dpa late Wednesday that “what occurred in Saxony is profoundly stressing and should be earnestly and extensively explored.”

Open telecaster ZDF said its camera group was lectured by a dissenter at a far-right showing against a visit by German Chancellor Angela Merkel last Thursday. Police in uniform at that point requested personality papers from the writers, keeping them from doing their work.

Saxony’s state representative at first protected the police’s activities. Experts recognized Wednesday that the counter Merkel dissident was a non military personnel worker of the state criminal police office.
