Assad visits Tehran, meets Iran’s preeminent pioneer

TEHRAN: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad met Iran’s preeminent pioneer Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday on his first visit to the Islamic republic since the beginning of the Syrian clash.

Amid the gathering, Assad offered his thanks to Iran for all that it has accomplished for Syria amid the contention, as indicated by the Syrian administration’s record on the Telegram informing application.

Assad likewise met with Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani amid his outing.
