19 financed things to be accessible at utility stores from today
ISLAMABAD: The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) declared on Saturday that 19 palatable things — including rice, beats, cooking oil, grams, gram flour (besan), sugar, dates and squeezes — will be accessible at its outlets from Sunday (today) at limited rates.
The Economic Coordination Committee of the bureau had endorsed the Rs2 billion Ramazan help bundle on Friday.
The legislature will give an endowment of Rs4 per kg on wheat flour, Rs5 on sugar, Rs15 on ghee, Rs10 on cooking oil, Rs20 on gram beat, Rs15 on moong, Rs10 on crush beat, Rs10 on masoor, Rs25 on white gram, Rs20 on gram flour, Rs30 on dates, Rs15 on basmati rice, Rs15 on sela rice and Rs15 on broken rice, Rs15 on squashes and syrups (1,500 ml), Rs10 on squashes and syrups (800 ml), Rs50 on dark tea, Rs15 per liter on Milk Pack and 10 percent alleviation on flavors.

A representative of the USC said that a few things had been conveyed at the utility stores and the remaining would be provided very soon.
Smooth supply of all wares the nation over would be guaranteed amid Ramazan, he included.
In the mean time, workers of the USC, who had set up a dissent camp outside its head office in Blue Area, had been guaranteed by its administration that their requests would be met.
Tending to the workers, senior USC officers said that the administration was focused on giving help to the overall population amid Ramazan by assuming its job as a value mediator and obstacle to profiteering, accumulating and dark advertising.
