Pompeo was met at Jeddah air terminal by Saudi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf.

JEDDAH: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Wednesday depicted strikes on key Saudi oil establishments as a “demonstration of war” as he arrived in Jeddah.

Pompeo depicted the automaton and voyage rocket strikes on Saturday as an “Iranian assault”.

He said it had not originated from Yemen’s Iran-supported Houthi aggressors and that there was no proof the assaults had been propelled from Iraq.

Pompeo was met at Jeddah air terminal by Saudi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Assaf.

Prior on Wednesday, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he had spoken with US President Donald Trump about the Aramco assault, and concurred that Iran must not be permitted to obtain an atomic weapon.
